First Rubber Expands Production Capacity with New Compounding Facility

Bangkok, Thailand — March 1st, 2025 — First Rubber announced a major production expansion at its Thailand campus with a new compounding facility now online to support customers’ growing demand and higher quality requirements. The project upgrades core processes and adds headroom for future growth while keeping quality systems at the center.

Designed for scalability and efficiency, the expansion features an automated chemical weighing system integrated into the new compounding line to enhance dosing accuracy and consistency at scale. The facility was laid out for future capacity growth and optimized flow from inbound raw materials through mixing and inspection—improving throughput without compromising control.

“As our customers scale, we’re committed to scaling with them—reliably, transparently, and with tighter process control,” said a First Rubber spokesperson. “This investment strengthens our response time and quality stability for automotive, electronics, and industrial programs.”

What’s changing—and why it matters to customers

  • More capacity where it counts. The program targets a 100% increase in rubber compounding capacity and a 20% lift in finished-parts capacity, aligning output with customer ramp plans.
  • Tighter digital traceability. FIFO warehouse management and QR-code lot tracking reinforce end-to-end material control, making PPAPs, audits, and change management faster and more robust.
  • Built for long-term reliability. The site’s expansion prioritizes process stability and future growth with an optimized layout and equipment upgrades that reduce variability at scale.

First Rubber continues to operate under rigorous quality systems, including ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, to ensure consistent performance across global programs.
